Longboat Key Club & the FGPC

I am an instructor at the Longboat Key Club and the Florida Golf Performance Center from October through mid-May. At Longboat Key Club I offer an array of lesson and program options. Group programs run all season long and new groups start each month (November thru March). There are also specialized programs like the Half-Day Short Game School and 2-Hour Speed Program. Individual lessons, group lessons and playing lessons are also available all season long.

At the FGPC I offer individual lessons as well as custom club fitting with Callaway or Taylormade

Program and Lesson Options

The Strike Program

In this program we work on every area of the game, from short game and putting to approach play and driving. We will work to develop your skills and then build on the skill acquisition with performance-based practice so you can feel confident taking your new skills onto the golf course. We will work on developing more speed and come up with strategies so that you can shoot lower scores. All of this will be monitored with Arccos and Clippd so you can track your performance and keep getting better even after the program is finished.

This group is designed for higher handicaps 18 and above.

This class is limited to 6 students and will be filled on a first come first served basis.

The Elite Program

This 8-session program is designed for better players who are trying to take their game to a new level. This will be a very in-depth course which will require work outside of the sessions.

In this class we will take a deep dive into your stats with analysis from Clippd and Arccos to get the most out of your practice. While fine tuning your skills and swing with detailed practice work. We will cover every area of the game, with a primary focus on distance creation, improved ball striking and shot control.

At the end of this program, you will hit it further, better and shoot lower scores.
There are only 6 spots in this program and spots will be
Handicap requirement is 15 or lower index.
All students will be given a course outline and practice plan, so that if you have to miss a class you can still do the work.

Individual Lessons

Individual lessons can be booked for any area of the game. Technology is used for almost every type of lesson, from Trackman to SAM Puttlab or Kmotion. Areas of focus can be technical, skill acquisition or performance based. Every student leaves with notes and a practice plan.

Member Price: $150 per hour, $80 - 1/2 hour.

Resort Guest: $175 per hour. $90 -1/2 hour

Half-Day Short Game School

In this 4-hour class we will cover everything on and around the green. We will start with putting, working on technique, face control, speed control and green reading. You will learn how to practice and refine your skills. From there we will work on everything around the green. Learning the technique for the basic pitch shot and all the variations to make sure you are able to get the ball on the green from any scenario.

Price: $500

Class: Minimum of 3, Maximum of 6

The Speed Course

In this 2-hour program we will cover everything about hitting the ball farther and getting the most out of your tee shots. We will look at technique, club delivery, contact control and speed training. Every student will receive a PRGR personal radar to continue their speed work.

9-Hole Playing Lesson

9-hole playing lessons are a great way for me to observe how you perform on the course. We will look at course management, decision making and mental strategies, as well as your skills in different areas of the game. This lesson allows for a more definable practice program and lesson plan.
